Assent Ltd has been appointed as a major distributor for the Leutron range of Lightning and Surge Protection Devices (SPD). This comprehensive range meets the requirements for Classes I, II & III of BSEN 62305 as well as a wide range of ancillary and complementary products for protecting complex networks and systems damage. The need for surge protection has never been greater with a significant increase both in the usage of electronic equipment and the complecity of the components and the systems connecting them. It is therefore more important than ever that this equipment is properly protected from mains incoming distribution to the actual equipment being used.
	Class I (B or TI) protects against lightning or power surge at the main incoming power point of the building( power distribution board /fuse box)
	Class II (C or TII) protects at the internal distribution level (power and data cabling including sockets)
	Class III (D or TIII) protects at the point of use (socket outlet or final sub-circuitry)
